This premium winch line combo consists of a 10mm South African manufactured UHMWPE synthetic rope made from solution-dyed yarn, spliced in-house by our team . It comes with 20cm soft loops and a small pull tab to assist in pulling the soft loop apart when used in conjunction with a soft loop winch extension line.

In addition, the winch line is paired with a lightweight fuse soft shackle, intended to break before the winch line or anchor point breaks.

This results in a synthetic winch line that is a lot safer with no steel components involved and minimal stretch.

How do I know if this winch-line is right for me?

Whether you have a 9500lbs or 12000lbs winch, this winch line is more than durable enough. A winch only reaches it maximum strength on the last winding, with the force not exceeding the winch's capacity. The ideal safety rating for a winch line is 1.5x the winch's strength. This means that at 20,000–21,000 lbs, this line is fine for either size winch.

The only factor to consider is that you can spool more rope onto a 12000lbs winch. If you have a 12000lbs winch, you can fit up to 35 meters of line, which is very valuable winching real estate! If you have a 9500lbs or 10 000lbs winch, then the 25m length is sufficient. We give a meter of extra length with each winch line and should it be a tad too long, you can trim it, to fit the maximum amount of rope that your winch is allowed to take.

Specifications:

Breaking strength: 21 000 LBS / 9,500 KG
Diameter: 10mm
Length: 25 Meters
Winch size: 9500 lbs - 12000 lbs

Features:

  • Ultra-low stretch = UHMWPE stretches maximum 4.5% at breaking point (well above your winch's capacity).
  • Less stretching = safer operation without risk of kinetic release should rope or mounting break.
  • Lightweight = easier to handle and a lot safer in the event of failures.
  • The supplied soft shackle allows for a safe fused recovery, as the slightly lighter soft shackle protects the winch line and recovery point.
